Your privacy is important to us at BOULANGERIE MARCO because it helps us provide better service to you. That’s why we’ve created this privacy policy to explain Boulangerie Marco’s information collection and use practices in connection with our website.

PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER

The Personal Data Controller (PDC) is the party that has the ultimate responsibility for data processing and decides the purpose and means of processing. The PDC must ensure compliance with the law, inform those whose personal data is processed, and ensure regulatory compliance by the Personal Data Processor.

We are the Personal Data Controller for all personal data processed about you as a customer or user when you use Boulangerie Marco’s services or, for example, contact us. Our handling of your personal data is described here in our Privacy Policy.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY

We do not collect any personal data from visitors or users unless they voluntarily provide such information, for example, by ordering products from us.

When you order from our website, your personal order form data is stored in our database indefinitely, but you have the right to request its removal at any time, and we will do so. We use Google Analytics to monitor IP addresses and gather data about site visits, such as location and duration. However, once you leave our site, we do not store or track your further online activity.

We use this data to improve our service to you, our customers.

INFORMATION WE STORE WHEN YOU ORDER

When you place an order, we store the following data to ensure accurate delivery:

• Full name, company name (optional), street address, country, postcode, town, email address, phone number, and any personalized order notes.

• If you request delivery to a different address, we also store that recipient’s full name, company name (optional), address, country, postcode, town, phone number, and email address.

Additionally, we store details about the item(s) ordered, including name, size, color, TYPE and price. We retain this data for legal reasons, such as compliance with the Finnish Bookkeeping Act.

ABOUT YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION

We do not store or have access to your payment information, such as credit card numbers. Payment is processed via VIVA WALLET, a secure third-party service. When placing an order, you are redirected to VIVA WALLET for payment processing. Their Privacy Policy and Terms govern the handling of your payment data.

After completing your purchase, you will be redirected back to our site. We only receive confirmation of your payment to facilitate the shipping of your order.

ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

Only authorized personnel at Boulangerie Marco have access to personal data necessary for fulfilling their job duties. These individuals are bound by confidentiality agreements.

SUBSCRIPTIONS TO EMAIL LISTS

By subscribing to our email list, you agree to receive updates and marketing communications from us. You may unsubscribe at any time, and your email data will be removed from our servers.

MARKETING PERMISSIONS

BREVO GDPR

We use BREVO as our marketing automation platform. By subscribing to our email list, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to BREVO for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSOR

In certain cases, personal data is processed by external parties acting as Personal Data Processors on behalf of Boulangerie Marco. The Personal Data Processor is responsible for ensuring technical and organiSational security measures.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?

For users registered on our website, personal data provided in the user profile is stored indefinitely. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information (except for their username). Website administrators also have access to this data.

YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR DATA

• Right to Access: You may request an extract of the data we hold about you. One copy will be provided free of charge per year.

• Right of Rectification: You can request corrections to any incorrect or incomplete data.

• Right to be Forgotten: You may request the removal of your personal data when it is no longer necessary for processing. However, some data may be retained due to legal obligations, such as tax and consumer rights regulations.

For multiple data export requests within a year, a minimum fee of €100 per request applies.
